Predictive MRM Driven Analysis using LightSight™ Software 2.0 and ACD/MS Processor

Abstract
Predictive MRM (pMRM) driven metabolite detection on a hybrid triple quadrupole linear ion trap (QQQ/LIT) mass spectrometer, has proven to be an excellent method of low level metabolite detection. The hybrid nature of the QQQ/LIT allows for optimal detection and confirmation using a hybrid quad/trap IDA (Information Dependent Acquisition) method. The LIT allows for complete fragmentation down to low m/z for detailed confirmation. LightSight™ software version 2.0 and ACD/MS Processor allows for seamless confirmation via fragment analysis. In this study, both high and trace level metabolites of Verapamil were analyzed using pMRM, LightSight software, and ACD/MS Processor as a method of comprehensive metabolite analysis.
