ACD/LC Simulator

Develop robust separation methods, quickly.

ACD/LC Simulator is LC method optimization software. It performs calculations, using experimental chromatograms, to help you optimize concentration gradient, temperature, and resolution during method development. The program will also predict analyte pKa values from chemical structure to help you find the optimal pH for your separation, and predict retention times for new compounds for existing methods.

ACD/LC Simulator is a powerful chromatographic method development tool. You save development time, eluent, and money by choosing and refining an optimal separation method and a column prior to the first injection.

More importantly, you create optimal separation methods with regard to separation quality, run time, and robustness that will continue to provide valuable information every time they are used. An effective separation depends on many parameters. ACD/LC Simulator lets you model and modify all of them.

Key Capabilities
  • Optimize your gradient, solvent concentration, temperature, pH, and more
  • Convert gradient methods to isocratic methods
  • Predict pKa from chemical structure
  • Predict retention times for new compounds under existing methods
  • Automatically match peaks between LC/UV (DAD, PDA) datasets based on spectral similarity
  • Visualize the effect of changing your method conditions with predicted chromatograms

Would you like to develop optimal LC/MS methods? ACD/LC Simulator works hand-in-hand with ACD/ChromManager to form ACD/Method Development Suite for LC/MS.

ACD/LC Simulator includes ACD/GC Simulator.
