ACD/Chromatography Applications Database

What's New

Version 8.0 to 9.0

ACD/Chromatography Applications Database is once again expanded to include over 7100 HPLC, GC, and CE records. New contributors include Macherey-Nagel, Merck KGaA (Darmstadt, Germany), SIELC Technologies, Thar Technologies, and YMC. New applications from Hamilton, Polymer Laboratories, Supelco, and Thermo Electron were also added.

Version 7.0 to 8.0

ACD/Chromatography Applications Database is once again expanded to include over 5300 HPLC, GC, and CE records. New contributors include Supelco and Grace Vydac.

Version 6.5 to 7.0

  • The recently updated Chromatography Applications DB version 7.0 now contains a total of 4810 entries. Among these, 63% contain a pre-calculated prediction equation, facilitating their use with ACD/LC Simulator and ACD/Method Development Suite Chromatography Smart Search.
  • The database now contains 576 chiral, 1244 GC, and 99 CE entries, encompassing a vast range of organic chemistry.

Version 6.0 to 6.5

  • The Chromatography Applications DB version 6.5 now contains 4410 entries and three new vendors. 63% of the records contain a pre-calculated prediction equation that enables their use with the ACD/LC Simulator and ACD/Method Development Suite Chromatographic Smart Search.
  • 443 chiral applications are added to the database. It also contains 1046 GC and 99 CE applications, covering a broad space of organic chemistry.

Version 5.5 to 6.0

  • We continue to add chromatograms with full method details and assigned chemical structures at an aggressive pace. The Chromatography Applications DB release 4.5 contained 206 entries; release 5.0 in 2001 had 1550 entries, release v.5.5 in 2002 had 3000 entries, while the latest, v.6.0, update brought the content to 3540 entries in 2002.
  • Applications are provided with predicting equations for simultaneous evaluation of retention times for new compounds during the search (refer to ACD/Method Development Suite Chromatographic Smart Search).
  • In addition to the existing structure and sub-structure searches, you can now search the internal and users' databases to retrieve compounds with similar chemical structures.

Version 5.0 to 5.5

(Formerly ACD/Internal Applications Database)

The applications contained in the database are the result of years of research and development by many of the world's most respected column manufacturers. The growing list of contributors includes Agilent Technologies, Alltech, Astec, GL Sciences, Hamilton, Jones Chromatography, Phenomenex, Regis Technologies, Restek Corporation, ThermoHypersil-Keystone, Varian, and ZirChrom Separations. We have supplemented, and will continue to supplement, the database with contributions carefully selected from recent scientific literature.

We continue to add chromatograms with full method details and assigned chemical structures at an aggressive pace. The Chromatography Applications DB release 4.5 contained 206 entries; version 5.0 in 2001 had 1550 entries, while an interim, v.5.5, update has brought the content to 3000 entries in 2002.

Version 4.5 to 5.0

(Formerly ACD/Internal Applications Database)

The applications contained in the database are the result of years of research and development by many of the world's most respected column manufacturers. The growing list of contributors includes Agilent Technologies, Alltech, Astec, Hamilton Company, Jones Chromatography, Phenomenex, Polymer Laboratories Ltd, Regis Technologies, Restek Corporation, ThermoHypersil-Keystone, Varian, and ZirChrom Separations.. We have supplemented, and will continue to supplement, this with carefully selected contributions from the recent scientific literature.

We continue to add chromatograms with full method details and assigned chemical structures, at an aggressive pace. The Chromatography Applications DB release 4.5 contained 206 entries; an additional upgrade brought it to over 450 entries; and the release 5.0 version has about 1650 chromatogram entries, with over 9000 structures assigned. An interim release is scheduled for 4Q 2001.
