ACD/ChemFolder Enterprise

Minimum System Requirements

Client Part

Hardware

• 300 MHz or higher Pentium-compatible CPU
• A VGA color monitor with the resolution set to no less than 800 by 600 pixels
• 50 Mb for installation of the licensed full-featured version (checked automatically during installation)
• A Microsoft mouse or fully compatible pointing device
• Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or Windows XP
• 256 Mb or more of RAM
• TCP/IP access to ACD/ChemFolder Enterprise Application Server
• A DVD-ROM drive

Software

• A perpetual, subscription, or trial license of the ACD/Labs software (complete with certificate registration numbers)

Application Server Part

Hardware

• 1.6 GHz or higher Pentium-compatible CPU
• A VGA color monitor with the resolution set to no less than 800 by 600 pixels
• Approximately 50 Mb of disk space for installation of the licensed full-featured version of ACD/ChemFolder Enterprise Server (checked automatically during installation)
• A Microsoft mouse or fully compatible pointing device
• Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or Windows XP
• 512 Mb or more of RAM, 1 Gb is preferred
• A DVD-ROM drive
• Fast (minimal 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps is recommended) Ethernet network access to a database server (if it is installed on different server)

Software

• A perpetual, subscription, or trial license of ACD/ChemFolder Enterprise Server
• Oracle Net 8 for Windows (for ChemFolder Enterprise Server for Oracle)

Database Server Part

Software

One of the following:

• Oracle 9i
• Postgre SQL 8.1.4 database server (Postgre SQL database server is provided inside ACD/ChemFolder Enterprise for Postgre installation package)

ACD/ChemFolder Enterprise for Oracle uses Oracle clients (Net8) to access databases.
