ACD/ChemFolder Enterprise
Key Capabilities
Built on the foundation of ACD/ChemFolder, ACD/ChemFolder Enterprise (for Oracle or Postgre SQL) is designed to enable your team or organization to store and use data located in remote databases.
- Manage structural and chemical information
- Segregate data by project within databases, and control user access
- Organize chemical reactions and easily map complex pathways
- Search local and remote databases
- Use prediction power
- Perform graphical analyses
- View and report results
- Multi-user access through client-server architecture
CFE is based on a 3-tiered architecture consisting of Client, Application server, and Database server levels. CFE can operate in two modes:
- 'Local' mode—for offline work, accessing and storing information from the local desktop database only
- 'Remote' mode—connected to a remote database via the database server
Searching
Remote databases can be searched using a variety of structure or text queries including substructure, structure similarity, reaction, sub-reaction, user data, meta data, and more.
Access Levels
Define access levels for individual users or groups of users, restricting viewing, adding, deleting and modification functions for entire projects, records, components within reactions and biotransformation pathways, attached files and more.
Data Types
Various types of data are supported by ACD/ChemFolder Enterprise including:
- Reactions
- Synthetic sequences
- Biological and toxicological information
- Descriptive textual notes
- Batch and project IDs
- Dynamic links to analytical data through ACD/SpecManager
- Dynamic links to associated documents (.doc, .xls, .ppt, .pdf, .txt and more)
