TORONTO - November 1, 1998 - Advanced Chemistry Development Inc and Astra AB have reached a three-year agreement that provides Astra with global use of Advanced Chemistry's property prediction and experimental data management software. Under the agreement, Astra chemists at 13 research facilities worldwide will have unlimited use of the following software packages:

  • ACD/SpecManager (NMR, UV-IR &MS Data Management)
  • ACD/HNMR and ACD/CNMR Predictors and Database
  • ACD/LogD Predictor
  • ACD/LogP Predictor and Database
  • ACD/pKa Predictor and Database
  • ACD/Boiling Point & Vapor Pressure Predictor
  • ACD/Solubility DB
  • ACD/HPLC and GC Simulator
  • ACD/NAME Structure Naming

"ACD has been providing software to Astra chemists since 1995," said Tim Blacker, Sales Director at ACD. "We are excited that Astra has made the strong commitment to use ACD software on a global level and look forward to a continued mutually beneficial relationship with Astra in the future."
